Payments, Reservations & Refunds
Working policy framework for provider integration and launch review.
Payment capture
A payment is not treated as complete until Parking Lot Auto receives a verified provider confirmation and records the capture in the payment ledger. A checkout screen or pending authorization alone does not activate a paid benefit.
Vehicle reservations
A paid reservation can temporarily mark a listing reserved for the period displayed in the transaction workspace. Reservation terms, expiry and refund eligibility must be shown before live payment capture is enabled.
Inspections and promotions
Inspection orders and dealer promotional placements activate only after successful payment. Promotional placement never changes trust, verification, inspection or market-value ratings.
Refunds
Refund requests are recorded against the original payment and must be processed through the same provider where practicable. Eligibility depends on the purchased product, fulfillment state and applicable policy.
Development sandbox
Local sandbox transactions are simulations and have no monetary value. Sandbox payment completion must remain disabled in production.
